Our ‘Scent Your Own’ offering allows you to purchase fragrance oil to use with unscented soap, to make your own soap, splash, EDP, etc… It doesn't make sense to make multiple sizes of all oils. So, we'll post what is available once per quarter. Folks can let me know what they want and we’ll make all of them at once. We have a few vials that are already made. Adding to an existing soap
Any size vile is good
Add to lather bowl or loaded brush. Start with two drops and increase slowly, as to avoid fragrance burn. Wash your face with soap and water twice if you experience frag burn. It will calm down in about ten minutes.
Make a 113 gm (4 oz) scented soap
Great for unscented soaps, soaps that no longer have fragrance or to have a soap with a scent that isn't offered.
Use a 10 ml vial for a four oz soap to achieve the same strength we have. This video provides instructions:
Make an After Shave Splash - 100 ml
Add a 5ml vial of fragrance oil to a 100 ml bottle. Add 95 ml 80 proof cheap white rum or other low smell liquor. You will have to shake very well before use.
Method 2: Add a 5 ml vial of fragrance oil to the 100 ml bottle. Add 5 ml Polysorbate 80 to the bottle and swirl around. Add 90ml alcohol as described above. Shake slightly before use.
Make 30 ml EDP (1 oz)
Order some Perfumer’s Alcohol from Saveonscents.com.
Add a 10 ml vial of fragrance oil to a 30 ml sprayer. Add 20 ml Perfumer’s Alcohol. Shake well.
